Below are applicable when transporting Aerosols ( UN 1950) having capacity above 1 litre
- Segregation as per the division ( Class 2.1 or 2.2 )
- Dangerous Goods Declaration must include “ Above 1 litre”
When the capacity is not more than 1 litre then Segregation as for class 9 but “away from” heat and “separated from” class 1 except division 1.4. no need to mention the capacity in Dangerous Goods Declaration.
Here capacity means = Brimful capacity of the can and not the nominal fill.
Above provisions are in addition to other mandatory requirements of IMDG Code
