Leaving the sea in 2003, he joined P&O Nedlloyd as a Specialist in Dangerous Goods and later worked with Maersk Line as Manager, Global Dangerous Goods. He was responsible for the more than 500+ships carrying DG cargo belonging to Maersk Line, MCC Transport, Mercosul Line and Safmarine.
