As per the communique by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema, locals burning stubbles spread to nearby military ammunition depot in the city of Bata resulting in huge explosion involving dynamite stored. The explosion resulted in more than 15 dead and 100s injured. Almost all buildings in the city of Bata has suffered damage.
