Due to upcoming FIFA World Cup games Russian ports of Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and Sochi will have heightened security measures which includes restriction on import and export of dangerous goods.

FIFA 2018 is scheduled to take place from 14th June to 15th July. Restrictions for handling dangerous goods at ports will be effective from 25 May till 25 July.

Shippers and forwarders should check with carriers prior shipping dangerous goods on vessels scheduled to call the ports of Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and Sochi between 25 May till 25 July to avoid rejection by ports.
