Indeed, it is a great pleasure to present the Placement Brochure of 6^th batch of MBA students.

On behalf of the School of Maritime Management (SMM), I take this opportunity to introduce the academic role of our School of Maritime Management and subsequent request for your kind patronage with respect to the placement of June 2016 pass-out batch of MBA students.

As you may be aware, Indian Maritime University (lMU), was established by the Government of India in 2008 by an Act of Parliament as a multi-campus Central University, under the Union Ministry of Shipping with the unique aim of providing specialized education in various Maritime fields, including Business Administration. Presently two such Degree Programmes are offered under the aegis of our School of Maritime Management   at the Chennai campus – MBA in Port & Shipping Management (PSM), and M.B.A. in International Transportation & Logistics Management (lTL). Each Programme is of 2 years duration; consisting of a total of 4 Semesters. This batch commenced from August 2014 and the students will be passing out in June 2016.

You can be assured that our students will prove worthy of the faith reposed on them, and certainly perform to the best of their ability and standards. It is requested to kindly confirm your convenient date and time for personal interview in Chennai office at the earliest as the University exam commences from first week of June this year. In anticipated response to our request, we await your kind confirmation on the above and looking for your positive reply at the earliest as most of the incumbents are slotted to go for project work to various shipping companies.
