Orange peel extract liquid is derived from citrus peels and widely used in cosmetics, fragrances, flavouring agents etc.

A pale yellow to deep orange volatile liquid with flashpoint 45–54°C. Flammable properties of orange peel extract make it subject to dangerous goods regulations under the IMDG Code.

Shippers must ensure correct classification based on the exact formulation and prepare the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) as per latest edition of IMDG Code, GHS 9^th revised edition and country specific requirements. Proper documentation, labelling, placarding, and segregation from incompatible goods are mandatory to prevent incidents during maritime transport.
